“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
— Ephesians 2:8-10

We are a family of believers. We all have sinned and fall short of what God expects of us! We share a common need - a need for a Savior. Through this gift of a church family, we are here to remind one another of God’s promises and to lovingly guide when there’s error. We walk this life with each other and we laugh, cry, celebrate, and mourn with one another. We are family!

We are part of the family of God. God’s family includes all races and cultures, ages and abilities! By grace, through faith, He adopts us as His own children! We are united in faith and a share a common belief.

We are saints and sinners. We have been washed clean from our sins by the blood of Jesus. His perfection is ours and we can stand before God at the end of our life and point to Jesus as our Advocate! In His grace, He gives us His righteousness and we now know without a shadow of a doubt that we will live with Him eternally! But on this side of heaven, we’re still sinners. We still screw up. We continue to make mistakes and hurt ourselves and those around us - sometimes even each other. In repentance we come to our Lord and lay our sins at the foot of the cross. In grace He forgives us and gives us the strength to keep going. As fellow receivers of that grace, we encourage one another, spur each other on, and forgive in love.

We are a teaching church. We are always learning, no matter how long we’ve been a Christian! There is learning opportunities throughout the week and for all ages. We want God’s people to be equipped to defend their faith, to speak boldly, and to serve faithfully in all of life. Opportunities include Sunday morning Bible Study/Sunday School for adults and kids, Sunday worship for all ages, Women’s Bible Study once a month, mid-week Bible Study on Wednesdays, and continuous fellowship times where we live life together as a family of believers.

Mission Statement: As men, women, and children united in faith and worship by the Word of God, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod exists to make disciples throughout the world for time and for eternity, using the gospel in Word and sacrament to win the lost for Christ and to nurture believers for lives of Christian service, all to the glory of God.
